Cajun Green Beans w/ Shrimp

We LOVE one skillet meals! Easy clean up and simple but Delicious recipe!

​Ingredients

  • 1 bag of string beans

  • 1 cup of chopped mushrooms

  • 2 tbs olive oil

  • 1 lb shrimp

  • 3 cajun sausage links

  • 2 tbs minced garlic

  • 1 tbs cajun seasoning

​Directions 

Garlic Green Beans

  1. Bring a large stockpot of water to a boil.

  2. Cook the string beans for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.

  3. Heat a large high-sided skillet over medium heat.

  4. Add  1 tbs olive oil, garlic and the mushrooms and stir for about 2 minutes. 

  5. Add in green beans   

  6. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix again

  7. Cook until tender, around 5 minutes

  8. Push green beans and mushrooms to one side of the pan

Cajun Shrimp and Hot Links

  1. Season shrimp with your favorite Cajun seasoning mix.

  2. Cut up 3 sausage links (you can also use smoked sausage)

  3. Drizzle the empty side of the pan with 1 tablespoon olive oil and start browning hot links (5 mins)

  4. Then add shrimp and stir fry together until shrimp is pink (5-7 mins) Enjoy!
